Lisa Shah-Patel

Lisa R. Shah-Patel, MD is the Director of Career and Professional Advising and a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix. She attended medical school at the University of California, Los Angeles, residency at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Medical Center in New York, and completed a Breast Imaging fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. Working with students and patients, Lisa has firsthand experienced the need for advocacy and education and joined IDEA in the hopes of bridging the importance of diversity and inclusion throughout all facets of medicine and breast imaging.
