Member Research Surveys
As a member benefit, the Society of Breast Imaging (SBI) will manage the email delivery of research surveys authored by individuals who seek to collect data from SBI members. This service includes two email messages (one survey invitation, one reminder) that will be sent to the targeted sample group.
To submit a survey, please complete the SBI Member Survey Request Form. Introductory text for the email and a link to your IRB-approved survey is required. A member of the SBI leadership will review your survey upon receipt of the request form. Upon approval, a staff member will provide deployment dates for your survey. By taking advantage of this benefit, survey authors agree to recognize SBI in their research findings and/or future published articles. Please note that completion of the request form does not guarantee that SBI will disseminate your survey.
Email survey requests will be processed in the order they are received. Due to high demand for this member benefit, your survey email may be sent up to 12 weeks after receipt of your submission form. SBI implements a “blackout” where the delivery of email surveys will temporarily cease:
- March - April
- July
- October - December

SBI reserves the right to refuse fulfillment of any email survey if SBI leadership does not approve of the purpose, research findings, or if the content is similar to that of a previously deployed survey. Survey approval does not imply any SBI endorsement or any recommendation for the research and/or its findings.
Limit: one survey per year, per member.
