Mammography Saves Lives
Helps Clear Confusion on When and How Often Women Should Receive Mammograms
Mammography Saves Lives™ is a coalition of the not-for-profit, 501(C)(3) medical associations representing a broad spectrum of breast cancer care experts. The MSL coalition was founded to reduce confusion regarding when and how often women should receive mammograms. This confusion may cause women to not start getting annual mammograms at age 40 and put them at increased risk of dying from breast cancer. Member organizations include: the Society of Breast Imaging (SBI), the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the American Society of Breast Disease (ASBD).
The information on the MSL website is great for patients, family and friends. Join other SBI members in sharing this information. Feel free to share it with your patients.
