Professional Bio

Dr. Anne Darrow (she/her) is completing a Breast Imaging Fellowship at the University of Chicago in 2024-25 after graduating Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Cook County Hospital & Health System in Chicago, IL. Dr. Darrow earned a BA in Anthropology at the University of California at Berkeley and an MA in education at the University of Southern California. She managed health & wellness programs for middle and high school students for a decade before returning to medical school. Dr. Darrow earned her MD at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She is on the Board of Directors of the American Association for Women in Radiology and is the President of the Resident & Fellows Section of the Illinois Radiological Society & the Chicago Radiological Society. Dr. Darrow joined the IDEA committee of the Society of Breast Imaging to contribute to community outreach and awareness of breast health for marginalized communities. She is passionate about medical education, promoting health equity and working with underserved groups, especially the LGBTQI+ and hispanic communities.
