Professional Bio

I lead a group of dedicated breast imagers as Vice-chair of breast imaging and section chief of breast imaging for the Mount Sinai Health System in NYC where I am a professor of Diagnostic, Molecular and Interventional Radiology. My team is very active clinically and in education and research taking care of tens of thousands of patients every year. I oversee multiple sites and am particularly proud of our mobile mammography van's outreach activities. I am active in research with over 50 publications and while each has been rewarding, I am very excited by the work I and others have done on breast arterial calcification. I have had multiple leadership roles that are as varied as being an SBI board member, chairing the ACR Committee of Breast Ultrasound and being the worldwide chair of the Brown Alumni Schools Committee.
